Do You Have a Written Game Plan for Retirement?

According to www.usnews.com, people are concerned that they don't have enough money saved for retirement. My question is this: Shouldn't you know exactly whether you have enough saved or not? Shouldn't you already know if you are on track or not?

Some people want to take care of this themselves. Others do not want to share their personal information with a stranger. Yet others, do not want to share their personal information with someone they know and trust. Amazing!

How in the world are we going to get anywhere, doing it alone? Haven't the last ten years been bad enough? When will we let bad enough be bad enough to the point where we will ask for help?

My suggestion is to treat your personal finances like a business would treat finances. Have a written game plan and if necessary hire a consultant. Where would Google be today, if they didn't have a CFO to create a written game plan? And here you are, thinking you are better than Google.

Hopefully, you were not offended by this article but rather the article got you to start thinking.  Read on about retirement in this earlier post.
