How Do We Fix the Debt Epidemic in America?

Have you heard of the debt epidemic sweeping across America?  With the 34 hours of TV being watched per week, how do we stop the consumption and stop the debt accumulation?  Please, add to the conversation and share your thoughts below!

According to business.time.com, "The Great Recession has pushed student debt to historic levels, and for the first time ever, almost 20% of U.S. households have outstanding educational loans."

According to 101financiallessons.com, "If you’re anxious about the credit card becoming a curse for your child’s future, you could always go the special Credit Cards for Students that provide a maximum limit". Can you believe that we are now targeting unaware students?

According to www.epidemicfun.com, the average consumer debt profile is $149,782 in mortgage debt, $34,703 in student loan debt and $15,328 in credit card debt.

Do we have any hope? What are your thoughts? Would you like to be a part of the debt freedom movement?
