Who Needs to Know How to Protect Your Money?

At money.usnews.com, there are several books that are recommended reading.  As Suze Orman often states, no one will protect your money better than you.  As such, you should read as much as you can about finances.

Let me be clear.  Money is not the root of all evil.  In fact, those who help the most people in the most meaningful ways often receive the most compensation.  It is the love of money that is the root of all evil.  It is the idolatry that causes issues and breaks up families.  However, the lack of concern for money does the same.

The ten books highlighted are:
  1. The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham
  2. The Great Crash by John Kenneth Galbraith
  3. Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits by Philip Fisher
  4. A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G. Malkiel
  5. Stocks for the Long Run by Jeremy Siegel
  6. Common Sense on Mutual Funds by Jeremy Siegel
  7. The Essays of Warrent Buffet:  Lessons for Corporate America also by Lawrence Cunningham
  8. Irrational Exuberance by Robert J. Shiller
  9. The Black Swan by Nicholas Nassim Taleb
  10. How Markets Fail by John Cassidy

Have you read any of these?  What do you think?  Which ones are your favorites?
